The test is done at the airport clinic, which is located in Terminal One near Gate D12.
As you enter the airport, you will see a white tent on the left-hand side.
You will need to drive around the airport loop to safely exit the vehicle in front of the tent.
It is important to note that there is no parking near the airport so you will need to be dropped off.
Feel free to bring your luggage with you.
What to Expect When Getting a COVID Test at Puerto Vallarta Airport
The Puerto Vallarta Airport Clinic is staffed with bilingual staff and has all the latest testing equipment to ensure accuracy and quick results.
When you arrive for your test, you will need to show your passport and boarding pass.
You will then be given a form to fill out with your personal information. Sometimes the form can be filled out by scanning a QR code while you wait in line.
Once you have completed the form and paid for your test, you will be directed to the testing area.
The test is quick and easy, and you should receive your rapid COVID test results via email within half an hour.
You should receive your PCR COVID test within 48 hours.
What if I don’t receive my test results?
If for some reason you do not receive your COVID test results from the Puerto Vallarta airport COVID testing center within the appropriate time, go to the back of the test (the exit) and let the technician know you didn’t receive your results.
The technician will then print the results for you so you have a paper copy.
